Terms & Conditions

Welcome to ECampus, owned and operated by Mohit Mali (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ECampus application (“App”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use ECampus.

1. Eligibility

ECampus is intended only for verified college students. To use the App, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Be a current or eligible student of a supported educational institution (currently B.K. Birla Night College)
• Provide accurate registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that fail verification or violate these Terms.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• Maintaining accurate account information
• All activity occurring under your account

You must immediately notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Impersonate another person
• Use false student information
• Create fake accounts
• Harass, threaten, or bully others
• Post abusive or hateful content
• Share obscene, illegal, or sexually explicit material
• Upload malware or malicious code
• Attempt to hack or disrupt the App
• Collect user information without permission
• Spam or send unwanted promotional content
• Violate applicable laws or regulations

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting content on ECampus, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Store your content
• Display your content within the App
• Process your content for technical purposes
• Optimize and deliver uploaded media

This license exists only for operating and improving the service. You remain responsible for everything you publish.

5. Child Safety and CSAE Policy

ECampus maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Because our platform is restricted to college students (18+), any presence of such material is a severe violation of our core safety standards.

• Zero Tolerance: Any user found uploading, sharing, or promoting CSAM or engaging in child exploitation will have their account immediately and permanently terminated.
• Reporting to Authorities: We actively comply with all relevant child safety laws. If CSAM is detected or reported, we will preserve the data and immediately report the user and the content to the relevant regional and national law enforcement authorities.
• In-App Reporting: Users are empowered and required to report any suspected child safety concerns immediately using our in-app "Report Post" and "Report User" tools. These reports are flagged for priority review by our moderation team.

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove posts
• Remove comments
• Remove stories (Hotposts)
• Restrict visibility of content
• Suspend accounts
• Permanently ban users

if we reasonably believe content violates these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law. Repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.

7. Verification

ECampus is intended for verified students. We may request information necessary to confirm student identity, including:

• Student ID
• Student email
• Phone number
• Other verification information

Accounts that cannot be verified may be suspended or removed.

8. Privacy

Your use of ECampus is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains:

• What information we collect
• How we use it
• How it is protected
• Your rights regarding your personal information

9. Intellectual Property

The ECampus application, including its:

• Design
• Branding
• Logos
• Graphics
• Software
• Features
• Source code
• User interface

are owned by Mohit Mali unless otherwise stated and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or reproduce any part of the App without prior written permission.

10. User Content Ownership

Users remain the owners of the content they upload. However, users confirm that they have the necessary rights to upload any images, text, or other material. You must not upload content that infringes another person’s intellectual property rights.

11. Third-Party Services

ECampus uses trusted third-party providers, including:

• Supabase
• Cloudinary

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy practices where applicable.

12. Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted service but do not guarantee that ECampus will always be available. The App may occasionally be unavailable due to:

• Maintenance
• Updates
• Security improvements
• Technical failures
• Internet connectivity issues

13. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if users:

• Violate these Terms
• Provide false information
• Abuse other users
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with the operation of the App

Termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect users or the service.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mohit Mali shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Loss of business
• Service interruptions
• User-generated content
• Actions of other users
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of ECampus

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mohit Mali from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of another person’s rights
• Your content

16. Changes to the Service

We may:

• Modify features
• Add new services
• Remove features
• Update the interface
• Improve security

without prior notice.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically. Updated versions will be published within the App or on our official website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of ECampus after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
